For Takeoff separation, I wait until the preceding aircraft has departed and has attained a speed of 180kts. That almost always assures separation between departing aircraft.

ATC-SIM POLL by Alex Thomas to /forum/atc-sim

I agree!!! Airline updates, runway changes, etc. have nothing to with control ability.. You take what comes at you and "get 'er done" safely, efficiently and expeditiously!! Some new airports would be nice, but no one is saying much about that. KMCI, KPIT, KJAX, ....??? Roy

Cannot land at MCO by squeakmail to /forum/atc-sim

At MCO the southbound flow is tight and some of the in bounds coming out of the north are high and require a heading change in order to drop them down to approach altitudes. I use 1000 feet as my approach altitude at MCO. If you intercept final at 2000 feet, you better be much further out on final, or you'll go around! I reduce southbound traffic speed too, in order to give the plane enough time to reach approach altitude before over running the approach envelope. I agree with Alex that 1000 feet is a better approach altitude to alleviate the go around problem.

Can we expect more overlays for other airports that do not have them?? That really is a nice touch. The only problem I have with that is that I go to F11 to expand my screen when I play and it 'shifts' the fixes and airports significantly from the correct location. At some, it places the airports in the water!!
How about New Orleans (KMSY), Boston (KBOS), etc?? Roy
